Licensing & Accreditation

The Art of Recovery. The Science of Treatment.

In August of 2017, Connecticut Renaissance, Inc. received its sixth three-year accreditation by CARF, The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission for our Adolescent and Adult Behavioral Health Programs in Bridgeport, Norwalk and Stamford.

Receiving the highest accreditation possible means that we significantly comply with all CARF standards. Not only did the evaluators examine direct client care, but organizational policies, outcome measurements, finances, human resources, operating structure, safety and numerous other areas throughout the organization. The survey team also consulted with clients and their families, state officials, staff and board members. All of the programs accredited had been found to substantially meet nationally recognized standards.

This accreditation outcome, which represents the highest level of accreditation, is awarded to organizations that show substantial fulfillment of the standards established by CARF. This latest action marks the fourth three-year accreditation awarded Connecticut Renaissance, Inc. by CARF, an international accreditation body.

This achievement has been attainable through continuously striving to provide the highest quality services in the most cost-effective manner. It is CARF's recommendation to announce this accreditation to individuals and agencies that we collaborate with in order to "enhance their respect for and trust in your organization and its capabilities."
