Courage to Speak

The Courage To Speak Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit drug prevention organization whose mission is to save lives by empowering youth to be drug-free and encourage parents to communicate the dangers of substance use to their children. Shortly after Ginger Katz lost her son to a drug overdose in 1996, she and her husband Larry founded The Courage to Speak Foundation which provides students, parents and communities the knowledge and tools to facilitate open and honest communication about the dangers of drugs and to empower our children to live drug-free lives. Ginger Katz has made over 700 riveting and thought-provoking drug prevention education presentations throughout the country that have touched the hearts and minds of hundreds of thousands of students, parents, educators and law enforcement professionals. School-based programs give children and teens the knowledge and skills they need to make healthy choices. Additional programs show parents and communities how to support their children in living drug-free lives.
